The Bluebonnet Air Show is held annually in Burnet, TX, and will take place on Saturday, Apr. 25. The Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force has hosted this family-friendly event for over 20 years, which attracts thousands of aviation enthusiasts from all over the country. This show will take place at the Kate Craddock Field at Burnet’s Municipal Airport, and proceeds from the Air Show will benefit the CAF museum that preserves America’s military aviation heritage.

In addition to the vintage aircraft roaring through the sky, there are many planes on display at the museum and throughout the grounds. A variety of food and merchandise vendors will be at the Air Show, too.

When? Gates will be open to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 25. Static aircraft displays will be available from 10 – 11:30 a.m.  The program begins at noon. Air Show performances start at 12:30 p.m. and finish around 4 p.m.

Where? The Bluebonnet Air show takes place at the Burnet Airport which is located on the South side of the city on Highway 281. Burnet is located northwest of Austin. It is 12 miles north of Marble Falls on highway 281. Guests traveling from Austin may either travel 183 North and right on 29, or they may travel highway 71 to 281 north.

  • Adults – $15.00
  • Seniors (age 60 or better) $10.00
  • Military with ID – $10.00
  • Students (6 to 17 years) – $5.00
  • Children 5 years and younger – Free
