Calling all fans of the Caped Crusader…Saturday, September 26 is Batman Day 2015! According to DC Comics, it’s the day to honor one of the most popular and iconic super heroes. Fans can celebrate all things Batman — from comics to video games and more. Want to take part in some Batman appreciation? Below you’ll find a round-up of Austin-area events.

Check out Batman Day events on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at these locations:

–> Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy:

— Batman Movie Marathon: 10 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Watch all 7 Batman movies in order from Batman (1989) to the Dark Knight Rises (2012) in the gaming room on our projector! Free popcorn and bat masks! (Obviously, the appropriateness of these movies is totally your call, parents.)

— Batman Kid’s Coloring Contest: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Bring the kids any time from 12 noon – 6pm and have them hang out, color a batman sheet, watch Batman 66 on their televisions and then turn in the coloring page when they finish. We will pick a winner, and announce it on their Facebook page! Kids up to 10 years old may participate with adult supervision.

— Board Game Demos: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Grab a Bat mask and try out a Dark Knight themed board game! Get a 25% off coupon for any game you play!

Free with any purchase, fans will get a copy of BATMAN: ENDGAME SPECIAL EDITION #1, a 40-page comic that reprints the lead story from BATMAN #35, pitting Batman against the Joker for the last (?) time!

You can also get 15% off on all Batman graphic novels and merchandise that day. Batman (and Batman-villain-related) cosplay is encouraged, and those in costume will receive an extra 10% off on Batman merchandise during the day. Open from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

They have a limited number of Batman Endgame comics to hand out, so arrive early. They will also have free coloring pages and in-store raffles. Open from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
