— Enjoy a free tribute to David Bowie, All the Children Boogie, at the Austin Scottish Rite Theatre from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This family friendly event features local kid favorites such as Joe McDermott and the Hey Lollies, along with many other musicians. FREE with RSVP.

— Stop by the Bullock Museum from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to check out their new Global Kitchen exhibit and take part in free Spring Break at the Bullock food-themed activities for kids. You’ll get to join Whole Foods Market for some tips on getting kids involved in creating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Take home recipes from past winners of the Whole Kids Cooking Challenge. All programs are FREE with exhibit admission.

— The 7th Annual Sherwood Forest Faire is open today from 10 a.m. – dusk for an extra day of fun during your Spring Break. — SXSW isn’t just for the grown-ups! Take the little ones to the Thinkery from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for Think About Music, and official SXSW event presetned by Amazon Music. Enjoy live original children’s music and activity led by singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb Official, two-time GRAMMY-nominated duo The Pop Ups and more! No wristband or badge required. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online here.

— Want to get a jump start on your Easter fun? Head over to Dittmar Recreation Center at noon for Search for the Lost Eggs. This free event includes crafts for kids at 12 p.m. and an egg hunt that begins at 1:05 p.m.
