It’s time again for the annual Lonestar Round Up where hot rods, classic cars and bikes will take over the Travis County Expo Center on Friday, Apr. 8 and Saturday, Apr. 9 at this huge vintage car show. You’ll also be able to enjoy live music, a swap meet, art show, lots of vendors and food, too.
Friday, Apr. 8, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Music line up includes:
- 11 a.m. – Surfing and Drag Racing with The Thunderchiefs
- 12:45 p.m. – ’60s Garage-fueled Rockers The Ugly Beats
- 2:30 p.m. – Americana Country Blues Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band
- 4:30 p.m. – Roots Rock and Rockabilly The Bellfuries
Saturday, Apr. 9, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Music line up includes:
- 11 a.m. – Young Texas Blues Guitarist Dylan Bishop
- 12:45 p.m. – Rock & Roll pianist, sister of Jerry Lee Lewis – Linda Gail Lewis
- 2:30 p.m. – Queen of Rhythm and Blues Vicky Tafoya & The Big Beat
- 4 p.m. – Presentation of Awards
- 4:30 p.m. – Legendary Roots Rock band The Paladins

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, you can head to old-school Austin hang-out, Top Notch Burgers, for family-friendly nights of music, classic cars, and drive-in movies. You can check their Facebook page for details about bands and films. There’s also always a really great chance to seeing hot rods cruise South Congress during the weekend. On Sunday morning aroundn 10 a.m., cars will be riding out to the Oasis Texas Brewing Company at Lake Travis, where you can check them out ’til about 3 p.m.
