4th Annual Paddle for Puppies Charity Event

We love supporting local charities, especially when we get to participate in fun activities for a good cause — like a morning of paddling on the lake! On Sunday, August 23 you’re invited to head out to Lady Bird Lake for the 4th Annual Paddle for Puppies. Hosted by Austin Subaru, this fundraiser benefits the Austin Pets Alive!’s parvo program. You’ll travel down the 5-mile course by kayak, canoe or stand up paddle to raise funds for pups in need.

The event starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Rowing Dock where you’ll paddle to Austin American Statesman building then turn around and paddle back. Click here for a course map. If you don’t have your own watercraft, you can reserve one online when you register to participate. Registration is $50, which goes to Austin Pets Alive!. Please take note that spots are limited.
