We’re ready for some star-spangled fun with family and friends to celebrate Independence Day! Here’s your Round-Up of 4th of July Events in the Austin area. We’re seeing events as early as June 29 and running through July 4. Check them out below!
2024 Independence Day Events and Fireworks
— Bastrop Big Bang Celebration
Get ready for an unforgettable night under the stars! From 6 pm – 9:30 pm, bring the whole family, as well as lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, and coolers, for an evening packed with excitement and patriotic spirit. There will be music, bounce houses, sprinklers, field games, concessions for purchase, and a 15-minute fireworks display set to music at dusk. Check here for more details and parking info.
— Cedar Park 4th of July Celebration at Milburn Park
Head out to Milburn Park to enjoy the City of Cedar Park’s robust celebration with live music, carnival rides, inflatables, and evening fireworks. Click here for more info and the full schedule of events.
— Independence Day Celebration at Hill Country Galleria
The family-friendly community event on July 4th is free and open to the public. It will feature live music at the Central Plaza lawn, kids’ rides, water games, free face painting, unique shopping and dining, more than 40+ artisan vendors, a fireworks show, and more! The event runs from 4 – 10 pm. FREE admission and parking. More info here.
— Independence Day Pfireworks
In partnership with Typhoon Texas, the City of Pflugerville is presenting a free fireworks show at approximately 9 pm on July 4th. The fireworks will launch from the field next to the water park, located at the intersection of SH 130 and Pflugerville Parkway, and can be seen across Pflugerville. To view the fireworks from inside the water park, purchase your tickets here.
— Kyle’s Independence Day Fireworks Show
Join the City of Kyle in celebrating the Fourth of July with the Independence Day Celebration Fireworks Show on Thursday, July 4 from 5 pm – 9 pm. This family-friendly celebration will feature live music, a market, and food vendors, and a community countdown culminating with a stunning 25-minute firework show. — Lago Vista Independence Day Celebrations
Celebrate freedom with a full lineup of festivities in Lago Vista! The celebration begins on July 3 with a fireworks show at dusk at Bar-K Park. On the 4th, enjoy a parade featuring floats, classic cars, horses, and more. Get all the details here.
— Leander Liberty Fest
Leander’s largest annual event includes live music, food, children’s activities, and a spectacular fireworks display on July 3rd. Admission is free for all ages and gates open at 6 pm. Live music starts at 6:30 pm followed by a fireworks show at 9:30. Click here for more info.
— Liberty Hill Independence Day Celebration
This family-friendly event takes place on July 3rd from 6 pm – 10 pm and features tons of fun activities including a hot dog eating contest, children’s activities, food trucks, and an outdoor concert and fireworks. Click here for details.
— New Braunfels Fourth of July at Landa Park
Enjoy fireworks over Landa Lake on July 4th! The fireworks can be seen throughout Landa Park, Landa Park Golf Course, Fischer Park, and the Fredericksburg Baseball Fields, and begin around 9:15 pm. Get more info here.
— Red, White, and Buda
This annual event has something for everyone. There’s a 9 am bike parade, and festivities from 4 pm – 10 pm, complete with fireworks around 9:15 pm. The festivities beginning at 4 pm include a splash pad, bounce houses, a food court, rock wall climbing, and more. Get all the details here.
— Round Rock Express Baseball at Dell Diamond
Enjoy post-game fireworks at the Dell Diamond with their big patriotic display on July 4th. Tickets start at $25 and you can get more info and purchase your tix here.
— Round Rock’s July 4th Parade and Frontier Days
On July 4th, a full day of festivities including a parade, festival, carnival rides, and more! Then, you can enjoy the fireworks at dusk at this free event! Click here for more info and the full schedule of events.
— Star Spangled Fest 2024 at Vic Mathias Shores (Auditorium Shores)
Head downtown in your patriotic ensemble on July 4th for this annual Austin tradition. The festivities begin at 4 pm and end at 10 pm on July 4. This event is free and open to the public, and there are also options to purchase tickets for VIP experiences here. — Volente Beach Fireworks Show
The Annual Volente Beach 3rd of July Fireworks Show will fire from the mainland at Volente Beach. The show will be viewable by boat, and in the general area around Volente Beach and Beachside Billy’s restaurant. We love this place, and if you haven’t been, check out our review here.
