— Mind Reading Color
Your friend picks a crayon from a box and you find out what color he/she picked through mind reading.
Secret: Stand with your back to the volunteer. Put your hands behind your back and ask him/her to pick one crayon out of the box and place it in your hands. Once you can feel it, turn to face him/her with your hands behind you. While you’re looking at him/her, scrape the crayon with your right thumbnail so some wax gets stuck between your finger and the nail. Finally, while keeping the crayon behind your back in your left hand wave your fingers of your right hand in front of his/her face, pretending to read his/her mind – but in reality sneak a peek at the color under your thumbnail.
— Telekinetic Pen
You move a pen on the table using your mind.
Secret: You will need a round pen and a flat smooth surface. Announce that you will be moving the pen across the surface with your mind and that it is called “telekinesis”. Pretend to infuse the pen with static electricity by rubbing it in your hair. Then, place it on the surface, with your hand behind and above it and begin to move your fingers forward as you quietly blow on it to make it roll forward. If you have an accomplish sitting on the other side of the table you can make it roll back as well if he/she blows on it from the other side while you pretend to reverse the telekinetic power.
— Mentally Cutting a Banana
Concentrate on the unpeeled banana and make cutting moves with your fingers. When you peel the banana, it has been cut in several pieces inside the peel.
Secret: You cut the pieces by carefully sticking a pin into the unpeeled banana in several places and wiggling it back and forth before you start the trick. Nobody will notice the small holes that the pin makes on the peel, but the wiggling motion will easily cut the banana on the inside.
— Freeze Water with Your Mind
Freeze water with your mind right from the bottle. As you pour it from the bottle it instantly freezes as it lands on your plate.
Secret: Put a water bottle and a plate in the freezer and remove both just before the water bottle reaches the point of freezing, that will take around two hours. Then pour the water onto the plate that will also be freezing cold, (but nobody knows that because that does not show). When the really cold water pours on the frozen plate it will instantly freeze to ice, you can actually build a small frozen mountain on the plate if you want to.
— Floating Cup
You lift a Styrofoam cup with both hands and right in front of your face you let go with both hands and the cup remains floating in the air.
Secret: The secret behind this one is simple: you make a hole in the cup on the back and stick one of your thumbs through it to keep the cup afloat. Wave the fingers of both hand around the cup so no one will notice the missing thumb.
