—  Yoga with Green Bird Fitness
Tuesday, September 1, 6:30 p.m. @ Dick Nichols District Park
Green Bird Fitness specializes in training programs for clients of all ages and fitness levels including pre and post-natal clients. They are proud to offer this all-level yoga class which will incorporate elements of yoga, pilates and instructor Lauren Whitehead’s extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Classes will meet near the playground, adjacent to the main parking lot. Please bring your own yoga mat to class. Storybook Dance Making
Thursday, Sept. 3, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. @ APL Howson Branch
Love music, dance, or reading books? What about all three at the same time? Come together for Storybook Dance Making with your family and create a dance based on a story’s theme. All ages & mixed-abilities. This class is taught by artists of Dance Waterloo, an interdisciplinary dance collective in Austin. Free with RSVP!

The Unsweet Side of Soda
Saturday, 1 – 2 p.m. @ Natural Grocers Cedar Park location
Soda, pop, cola — whatever you want to call it — contains a mishmash of chemicals and enough sugar to ruin your good health. Use tips learned in this class to break the sugar addiction and improve your health and the health of your family.

Oneness and Wellness Fairs / Ferias Unidad y Bienestar
Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. @ Nature’s Treasures
Come experience Central Texas’ only Bilingual Wellness & Metaphysical Fair. Enjoy educational & inspirational lectures, meditations, doors prizes, raffles and much more. Children are welcome!  Oneness and Wellness Fairs / Ferias Unidad y Bienestar is a bilingual event for the entire family. Free admission!

Curling
Sunday, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. @ Chaparral Ice
Curling was all the rage at the recent Sochi Olympics. And, curling is another way to enjoy the ice that does not require skating skills. Chaparral Ice is proud to host Austin’s first Curling Club. The club welcomes new participants or just curious spectators. No experience or equipment is necessary, and all ages are welcome. If you are interested in curling as a group outing, they offer a modified version of the game that can be enjoyed by groups with no experience necessary.
