Each WeViva class is approximately 1 hour. It is ideal if you can attend at least one class each week of the session. At some locations, incentives are provided for people who start the program, those who complete 6 classes, and finally those who complete all 12 classes.

Friday, June 5, 2 – 8 p.m. @ The Midway Food Park
To celebrate the best season ever, Do512 Family decided to throw a party for families with live music, local food, magic, special performances and activities for the kids. We’ll also have an inflatable obstacle course and slide, face painting and healthy activities from IT’S TIME TEXAS. Free with RSVP!
— Kid’s Fishing Clinic and Derby
Saturday, June 6, 8:30 – 11 a.m. @ Lake Kyle
Instructional Fishing Clinic that is open to child 6 years and older or entering 1st Grade. Registration for Fishing Clinic for first-time participants must be received in Kyle PARD Office until all 50 spaces are filled. Each child attending the clinic must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge to attend and participate in the clinic. Registration form signed by parent/guardian is required. Sessions set up into 5 stations: Basic Tackle and Fishing Knots, Fish and Bait, Learn to Cast, Fishing Regulations and Safety, and Ethics.
Saturday, June 6, 10 -11 a.m. @ Goliad State Park
Spend an hour with a park ranger as we discover the unique natural resources of Goliad State Park. Program topics may vary from nature walks, to bird watching 101, to discovering the plants of the mission, to backyard wildlife, and more. Program is free; park entrance fees may apply. Call ahead for details.
