— Austin Parks and Rec: Kokoro Judo
Every Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30-9:30 p.m. @ Givens Recreation Center
Kokoro Judo is a Judo club dedicated to teaching Kodokan Judo to folks age 7-70 so they can be healthier, happier and safer. Kokoro Judo is a community based club focusing on both Competition technique and general wellness. An officially sanctioned club by USA Judo with a certified Coaching staff. Every Wednesday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. @ Boggy Creek Farm
By shopping at the Farm, you will get a good idea of what is seasonally available in Central Texas. They grow a wide variety of vegetables and greens that are available for purchase.
— Mother Earth Day Festival
Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ Zilker Park
This Festival is designed for environmental awareness and fun, especially relating to Barton Springs and Barton Creek with a special emphasis on water conservation. Every activity is made to ensure that kids from 4-13 years of age have a great time and an interactive learning experience. The event is completely FREE and open to kids of all ages and all families are welcome.

Thursday-Sunday, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ The Texas State Capitol
The South entrance of the Capitol building serves as the departure point for two free guided-walking tours of downtown that help history buffs explore Austin’s past. Sundays require a reservation 48hrs in advance!
