— Happy Baby: Eating Well in All Stages of Pregnancy
Tuesday, September 15, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. @ Sustainable Food Center
Healthy eating during pregnancy benefits your child for life! Join Tandem Midwifery in SFC’s The Happy Kitchen to learn how to make nutritious, affordable and delicious foods for all stages of pregnancy. Using locally grown produce and ingredients from SFC Farmer’s Markets, Kate Griffin and Jayme Moore will show you their top 10 favorite pregnancy foods and how to incorporate these power foods in your meals, snacks and smoothies. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online here.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8:30-11:30 a.m. @ Urban Roots
Volunteers help out with a variety of tasks, from farm work to community events. They have opportunities for everyone! No RSVP required for individuals and groups smaller than five; groups larger than five must email [email protected]
— Mommy and Me Yoga
Thursday, 9:30 a.m. @ Yoga for You Austin
Bring your child to Mommy & Me Yoga for a gentle workout. This class combines slow stretching with gentle yoga postures, breath work and core strengthening. — Honey Creek Hike
Saturday, 9 a.m. @ Guadalupe River Street
Join a guided tour of Honey Creek State Natural Area by trained guides of the Friends of Guadalupe River & Honey Creek. You’ll learn about both the cultural and natural history of the area and see the beautiful Honey Creek along the way. Admittance is through Guadalupe River State Park. State Park entrance fee will apply to anyone 13 and older.
— Hope Farmers Market
Sunday, 11 a.m. @ Hope Farmers Market.
Come check out the weekly hub for farm-fresh produce, food vendors & live music, plus workshops such as yoga & cooking.
