Wow, Austin! Every year we are blown away by the music, the fun, the people, and the excitement of Austin City Limits Music Festival, and this year was really something special. With the weather being downright perfect in Zilker Park, and with so many impressive festival improvements such as the revamped Kiddie Limits area, we couldn’t help but have a great experience. We’re already marking our calendars with next year’s dates — October 6-8 & 13-15, 2017 — but before we think ahead, let’s take a look back at some of our favorite things about ACL Fest 2016.

Taking the kids was easier than ever. 
The special Family Entrance made it a breeze to zip into the park, and we loved the all of the shade in the new location of Austin Kiddie Limits. There was such a range of fun activities, too!

We loved the music!
We danced with Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, & LCD Soundsystem. We felt all the feels with Willie Nelson, Radiohead & Andra Day. We sang along with LL Cool J, Mumford and Sons, Haim, Cage the Elephant & Local Natives. We felt love for local musicians such as Wild Child & Asleep at the Wheel.

We ate til our bellies were full.

We marveled at the beauty of Zilker Park.

We partied ’til we just couldn’t party any more.
