Looking for a fun team sport for your kiddos to get involved with? Want to do it for FREE? Austin’s Major League Rugby team, AG Rugby, has got you covered. AG Rugby wants to invite you and all members of the community ages 5-14 to participate in their Youth Flag Rugby league this season, completely free of charge. No previous experience is needed.
The Youth Flag Rugby league is an awesome way for kids and teens in Central Texas to learn the basics of rugby and learn valuable team building skills. The teams will play matches at Bold Stadium before each AG Rugby home game. Youth games run from 5:45-6:45 p.m. and AG Rugby matches start at 7 p.m.
Youth Match Dates:
- Saturday, April 17
- Sunday, April 25
- Saturday, May 15
- Wednesday, May 19
Team Breakdown by Age:
- Elementary Group 1: Ages 6-9 / Grades 1-3
- Elementary Group 2: Ages 9-11 / Grades 3-5
- Middle School: Ages 11-14 / Grades 6-8
Plus, players will receive 4 tickets to the game and a t-shirt for participating!
