Armadillo Christmas Bazaar

Here in Austin, we’re pretty devoted to our holiday traditions — spinning under the Zilker Tree, watching the Chuy’s Parade, strolling through the Trail of Lights — and shopping at the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar. The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar has been one of our city’s longest running art & music festivals, providing a very fun authentic Austin shopping experience. You’ll find a huge assortment of fine art and crafts and a great music lineup. The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is open from Dec.13 through Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily and on Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center, and kids 12 & under are free! The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is actually like two events in one: an art fair and a music festival. The Armadillo stage showcases some of Austin’s most popular musical talent, with live performances throughout the afternoon and evening from such artists as Dale Watson, Warren Hood, Peterson Brothers, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and so many more. Check out the full music schedule here.
