Do512 Family - What to do in Austin with Kids

Art Outside 2015

Art Outside is more than a music or art festival. It’s an immersive artistic experience — encouraging imagination in a communal atmosphere where you can camp out and bring the whole family. You can take part in this fun, 4-day event October 22-25 at Apache Pass, a 100 acre pecan grove just an hour outside of Austin. Now in its 11th year, Art Outside features dozens of engaging workshops, music and hundreds of artists.

Art Outside is a family-friendly festival, and kids 12 & younger are admitted for FREE with a paid guardian. They offer full days of Kids Korner programming throughout the weekend at no additional charge, which includes hands-on creating and children’s performances. Dedicated family camps are also available.
