ZACH Theatre – Your kids can fill their days with music, dancing, acting, storytelling and laughter at weekly sessions. Skills in acting, improv, musical theatre and dance for ages 3+

Good Stuff Art Space – Summer Camps offered for students in K- 5. Choose from a variety of weekly day camps where children can dive into visual arts, express creativity, and build confidence. Squishy Banana Studios — Create an epic music video, action/adventure, or suspense/thriller movie completely from start to finish! Campers get the full filmmaking experience – from writing a script, to acting, filming, and editing a new short film each week. Half day weekly camps are available from June 1 to August 7 for rising Kindergarten to 6th graders. $255-295. Scholarships and early bird discount available. Multiple locations.

Orpheus Academy of Music — Children of all ages and abilities can enjoy music summer fun and enriching experiences, now through online group classes for ages 4 to 13. Each 45-minute class is tailored to the student’s age and experience level. Students ages 4-7 will learn songs from Brazil, Ghana, and Turkey. Students ages 8-13 will master the major scale and dive deep into rhythm by composing music for a short film of their choosing and build teamwork skills by creating dynamic Broadway scenes. All ages will record their own virtual ensemble video that can be shared with family and friends and perform in a live online recital. Private instruction is also available. Details here.

UT School of Design and Creative Technologies — Camps for high school students designed and taught by UT faculty — entirely online. Students will learn about game design, graphic design, and animation. Through each program, students have the opportunity to create a portfolio piece as they prepare to apply for college. For ages 14 – 18 and held from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Location: UT Campus, 2301 Trinity St. Austin, TX 78712

Synergy Dance Studio: Synergy Dance Studio strives to provide children with an enjoyable and creative dance experience, offering all levels of training with a focus on promoting self-discipline, self-respect and most importantly self-confidence. Themed day camps for ages 4.5-10 include themes such as Pop Star Party, Frozen 2, JoJo Siwa and more. Camps include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acting, Tumbling. Austin Film Festival — Camp for ages 9-18 offers screenwriting, filmmaking and claymation workshops. Led by professional filmmakers, AFF’s Summer Film Camp provides campers with the venue, equipment, and team they need to create their very own short films. Full day and half day programs are offered. Cordovan Art School — Kids can spend summer in a creative way at a Cordovan Art School camp! Choose from multiple locations in Round Rock, NW Austin, Georgetown, and Cedar Park. All camps are designed for ages 5-16, and young artists are divided into small groups based on age. Taught by professional artists, these weekly camps offer diverse topics, mediums, and themes all finishing with a student art show on Fridays. Multiple locations.

The Art Garage — Week long summer art camps include such art projects as ceramics, hand building with clay, drawing, painting, crafts, fused glass, jewelry, tie-dye and more. Imagine Arts Academy — Children ages 5-12 to discover themselves as artists with three different art programs.  This camp offers a creative environment that allows kids to use their ingenuity in new ways and fosters the development of important life skills. Multiple locations.

Mess Maker Studios — Campers ages 3-11 can enroll in a weekly creative arts camp from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a variety of themes each week. Camps include art-making, yoga, pizza day, plenty of play time, a mini art show, and lots of opportunity for hands-on fun. Extended hours available. Austin Scottish Rite Theatre — Your creative kiddos can have a blast this summer at a camp at the historic Scottish Rite Theater. Their Summer Camp program allows kids (ages 5-18) to explore a variety of performance styles including Acting, Dance, Music, Puppetry, Shakespeare, and Stage Combat. Wicked Workshop — This youth architecture project-based program that provides kids with problem-solving skills through an interactive curriculum. 620 Art Gallery — Young artists ages 5-12 can take part in weekly camps in a real fine art gallery to create their own masterpieces while exploring a variety of art processes such as painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, and sculpture. Morning, afternoon, or full day sessions are available. 620 Art Gallery & Studio offers a fun, safe and comfortable environment led by certified teachers and professional artists. Paramount Theatre — Take part in virtual two-week performing arts camps with a professional team of teaching artists that you know and love will engage your kids in guided classes and activities. Campers will participate in acting, singing, and dancing, as well as theatre tech and design classes. All camps will provide a final professionally-edited video performance celebrating the students’ hard work.

Mother Falcon Music Lab — These Virtual Summer courses focus on relevant topics as developed and led by a diverse collective of acclaimed Artist Instructors. In this virtual experience, you can join the MFML community to celebrate our voices, collaborate, and create our world! Classes range from How to Write a Protest Song and Decolonizing the Music Industry, to Album Art to Podcasting. Classes run from early July into August.
