It’s almost time for Austin Zoo’s annual Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo! Open Fridays and Saturdays from October 4 through 26, Austin Zoo will be illuminated and decorated for Halloween, and complete with a haunted mansion, a train ride, an animal show, and more.
At Boo at the Zoo, you can explore the grounds at your leisure, taking in the sights and sounds of the animal habitats, all while enjoying the Halloween festivities and decor. Tickets are $22 per person, and there are food and beverages available for purchase at the gift shop, or you can pack a picnic to enjoy. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume to show off their festive spirit!

I don’t think the train ride is appropriate for all ages. Just got done with it and I’m sure my 20 month son will likely have nightmares of people in all black and masks emerging from the woods around our train. I’m so happy it wasn’t dark yet when went through. Please add a disclaimer.
