Celebrate the Earth Austin-style at the free Austin Earth Day Festival, Saturday Apr. 26 at the Browning Hangar at Mueller. The festival runs from 12 to 6 pm and includes many interactive experiences and attractions, live entertainment, food truck vendors, how-to workshops, a kid’s zone and more!
The kid’s zone includes a “fun farm” with a petting zoo and pony rides, art stations, a cardboard box building area, touch tables, and performances by musicians Laura Freeman, Boone Graham, Mr. Will, and the magician, Kent Cummins.The amazing Whole Life Learning Center will also be there offering face-painting, big bubbles, a create your own seed balls station, primitive skills workshops and teaching how to make your own medicine pouch with rosemary, sage and lavender.
