— Support Family Eldercare’s annual summer fan drive! At Fan Fare Friday you can donate new box fans (or a suggested $15) to help families in need stay cool during summer months. You & the kids can head over to Threadgill’s World Headquarters downtown from 7 – 11:30 a.m. to donate a fan, enjoy pancakes, face painting, a bounce house and a concert from Big Don & Mr. Will! — Enjoy a great lineup of music, food and fun to raise funds for Wimberley flood victims.The #Austin4Wimberley Flood Relief Benefit will take place at Sweetwater and is free and open to all ages from noon – 6 p.m. Starting at 6:30 p.m. you can pay $25 cash at the gate for evening entry to enjoy national acts such as Emily Robison Strayer (Dixie Chicks & Court Yard Hounds). — Dads can enjoy free beer & fishing games with the kids at a special Daddy & Me Play Day at Toybrary Austin from 10:30 a.m. -noon, $5 per child.
— Commemorate the United Nations’ World Refugee Day at the Bullock Museum from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with a naturalization ceremony, free samples of world cuisine, live music and performances, and activities for kids ages 6 and up. — Take Dad out to the Dell Diamond for the Round Rock Express vs. Iowa Cubs baseball game at 7:05 p.m. All kids ages 12 & under will get a free Spike photo ball.
