— You can see the So You Think You Can Dance Season 12 Tour today at 8 p.m. at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. This 13-time Emmy® Award-winning show captivates audiences each week on television, but now you have the chance to see top finalists dance the season’s most popular routines live on stage. Tickets start at $59 and can be purchased online here.

—  Join the Friends of Austin State Supported Living Center at the annual Spooktober 5K and Fall Festival today. This family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk at 9 a.m. and a Kids 1K at 12 p.m. as well as a Fall Festival for the community from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. with arts and crafts, a petting zoo, carnival games and more! Registration for the 5K is $30 for adults and $20 for kids ages 13 & under. Kids 1K registration is $10. Entrance to the Fall Festival is free! Tickets will be available for $1 each, and $20 wristbands will be sold for unlimited access festival activities.

Get into the spooky Halloween spirit with the tales of the Brothers Grimm today at 10 a.m. at the Blanton Museum of Art. You can hear professional storyteller Tom Lee perform a selection of these original, dark stories. While you’re there, check out the current exhibition, Natalie Frank: The Brothers Grimm, a collection of more than 30 drawings that explore the nineteenth-century fairy tales of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. This event is free with regular paid entrance fees to the museum. Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+), $5 for ages 13-21, and free for children ages 12 and under.

— Head over to Fiesta Gardens today from noon – 10 p.m. for the 2015 Día de los Muertos Festival, benefitting Easter Seals of Central Texas. The festival will offer live music, food and beverages, cultural performances, altar contest as well as Kids Zone activities for kids. Children ages 12 & under get in free with paid adults. Tickets are $15, which you can purchase online here.

— Go enjoy some fall fun at the Barton Hill Farms’ Fall Festival & Great Pumpkin Corn Maze from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. General admission is $8 for ages 3-10 and $11 for ages 11 & up and includes entry into the grounds, the corn maze, pumpkin patch and slides. An Adventure Pass can be purchased for $11 for ages 3-10 and $15 for ages 11 & up and includes unlimited access to the jumping pillow, cow train, trike track, pumpkin painting, and pony hops. — The Texas Book Festival offers tons of free, family fun for kids of all ages this weekend! At this annual event, authors and book lovers take over the grounds of the Texas State Capitol to share the joy of reading. The event is packed with hands-on kids activities, entertainment, food, book signings, story times, author sessions and a whole lot more. Plus, attending the fest is FREE! Come see us in the Children’s Activity Tent today from noon – 1 p.m.! We’ll be decorating Halloween trick-or-treat bags with kids.

— Celebrate HOPE Farmers Market’s 6th birthday today at Plaza Saltillo with free cake, face painting, Tiny Tails to You Austin’s Traveling Petting Zoo, live music and more as you shop for fruits, veggies and handmade goods at the market.

— Take the whole family to Nutty Brown Cafe from 3-6 p.m. for a great afternoon of music and fun for Groundwork Music Project’s Fall Family FUNraiser. Enjoy some of Austin’s best musicians, face painting, a bouncy castle and more. Plus, all funds raised at this event will be used to help Groundwork Music Project continue to provide free and low cost music classes to Austin children. Tickets are $5 at the door.

— Enjoy the free Fall Fun Festival at Ashley’s Playhouse from 1-4 p.m. Kids will love the bounce house, games, train rides and more. Bring your own pumpkins for decorating with their art supplies! Or, be one of the first 200 kids there to receive a free mini pumpkin.

— Celebrate community through dance, music, creativity, food and more at Community Art Sunday held at the Center for Creative Action from 2-5 p.m. This family event includes live music, AcroYoga, silk screening, drum circles, face painting, time capsule labs, storytelling, and an unveiling of a massive mural. Free!
