Austin Waldorf School Summer Camps

For an unforgettable summer camp experience, look at the classic activities organized by the Austin Waldorf School. The natural hill country setting is an ideal place for swimming, crafts, outdoor playtime and wholesome fun with friends. Austin Waldorf School offers great award-winning camp options — Camp Summergarden for ages 4 & 5 and Camp Roadrunner for ages 6-12.

Choose from 8 weeks of camp session offered from June through August, 2021. Camps are held Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the rate of $300 per week (with extended care options available).

Camp Summergarden, ages 4 & 5:
Built upon the Waldorf understanding of the developing child, Summergarden provides children with a nurturing environment led by enthusiastic, experienced teachers. The majority of the day is spent outside on a shaded playground equipped with a wading pool, sandbox, climbing tree, wooden boat, jump ropes, and lots of room to run around. Other activities include swimming, crafts, circle games, cooking, and story time.

Camp Roadrunner, ages 6-12
Choose from 8 weekly sessions with different themes ranging from wilderness skills to nature theatre to extreme plants.  Activities vary each week and may include circus arts, obstacle courses, cooking, hand crafts, and more. Camp Roadrunner is a wonderful opportunity for children from all backgrounds and each week encourages self-expression and creativity in a friendly and fun environment. And all camp participants will tie dye a unique Camp T-shirt each week. Click here to see the full list of themes.

Camps run from June 14 – August 6, 2021 with 8 weekly sessions from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Cost per week is $300. Extended care is available through 6 p.m. at a cost of $50 per week.
