Music for Kids – Free Music at the Library

ATX Music and the Austin Public Library have teamed up to bring us free music in the library all summer long. Music For Kids features local kid-friendly musicians who will perform at various library branches throughout the summer. Musicians include Neal Kassanoff, Gina Chavez, Walter Tragert and Lucas Miller.

T-Rex Runs through Zilker Botanical Gardens

TODAY, Thursday, June 12 from 1:30 – 3 pm, make plans to be at Zilker Botanical Garden for a special appearance from ERTH’s Dinosaur Zoo. Their very own T-Rex will be at the garden to interact with kids and give you a taste of their upcoming show that will be at the Long Center June 17 – 22.

Sunday Funday Kids Show

The Sunday Funday Kids Show at The Sanctuary Event Space will be a fun day of music that kiddos and parents can appreciate. Show is from 3 – 6 pm on Sunday, June 15 and we have four tickets to give away!

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live at Long Center

A show for anybody between the ages of 5 and 100, ERTH Dinosaur Zoo Live will travel back millions of years to take audiences on a journey through prehistoric Australia. Happening at the Long Center Tuesday, June 17 – Sunday, June 22, ERTH will allow children and adults the opportunity to experience dinosaurs through amazing, state-of-the-art puppetry.

SplashFest!

Inflatable water rides, an outdoor concert and a big screen movie under the stars – just a taste of what you can enjoy at the first annual Splashfest, Saturday June 14 at Windy Point Park on Lake Travis.

Children’s Day Art Park

For a whopping 50 cents per child families can expereince local musicians, storytellers, dancers, magicians, mimes and craftspeople. Kids can try their hands at art projects under the Art Tent, experience Ballet Folklorico and Latin Jazz, talk to members of the symphony, and hear them play their instruments.
