Join in all the crazy science fun at Mad Science Day at Kaleidoscope Toys this Saturday, Apr. 26 from 10 am to 1 pm. Science projects will take place throughout the event and will include: polymers, elephant toothpaste, amazing energy stick, the physics of toys, and insta-snow.
The Sunset Valley ArtFest is a bonafide half-day festival complete with vendors and live music performances on multiple stages–for kids and adults–and it’s FREE and it’s happening Saturday, April 26 at the Toney Burger Center in South Austin.

Celebrate the Earth Austin-style at the free Austin Earth Day Festival, Saturday Apr. 26 at the Browning Hangar at Mueller. The festival runs from 12 to 6 pm and includes many interactive experiences and attractions, live entertainment, food truck vendors, how-to workshops, a kid’s zone and more!
If the slogan “Keep Austin Weird” had its own festival, Eeyore’s Birthday would be it. Get weird at Pease Park on Saturday, Apr. 26 from 11 am until dark, the children’s area will be open from 11 am – 4 pm and live music from noon – 6 pm. Admission is FREE! Dress code will be Austin-formal: tutus, bikinis, fairy wings and flip flops. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a contest. Props: hula hoops, bubbles and flower garlands.
