Bat Fest – GIVEAWAY

Celebrate our Mexican free-tailed bat colony at the 10th Annual Bat Fest on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 4 pm – midnight on the Congress Ave. Bridge. Dress up your little bats for a costume contest, hear live music, check out arts and crafts, eat awesome food and enjoy children’s activities.

Kids 8 and under are free with an adult, adult admission is $10 at the gate. OR you could enter below for a chance to win four tickets!

It is hard to predict exactly when the bats will take flight, but they usually take off between 7:15 – 8:45 pm. The emergence can last up to 30 minutes as 1.5 million bats head out for their nightly flight. Bat Conservation International will have a festive booth on the bridge celebrating our beloved bat colony!

Paid parking lots include The Ausitn American Statesman lot, the Palmer Events Center Garage, the One Texas Center, the Long Center and various hotels. Free parking will be in the TXDOT lot accessed from Riverside Dr. just east of Congress Ave. For more parking information and other details, check out the event website.
