Boggy Creek Farm

Have you visited the farm stand at Boggy Creek Farm? One of our favorite sweet gems tucked into East Austin, historic Boggy Creek Farm is quietly nestled just two miles from downtown but provides a peaceful break from the city chaos — and offers you wonderfully fresh produce!

This 5-acre urban farm offers one of the two oldest homes in Austin, freshly harvested produce, fresh eggs, a variety of baked goods, and meats & cheeses from locally & ethically raised animals. During open hours, visitors are free to stroll around the grounds of the working farm. A hot spot for toddlers and preschoolers, your kids will love saying “hi” to their 150 happy hens!

During the month of August, Boggy Creek Farm is only open on Wednesdays & Saturdays from 8am-1pm, but more dates will be added in September.

Check out a few of our pics from our recent visit, and keep Boggy Creek in mind the next time you wish to shop local and eat well!

At this time, all visitors are required to wear masks and sanitize their hands at the farm stand. For much more info, visit www.boggycreekfarm.com.
