One our favorite family events returns to the Long Center on Saturday, June 6 — Bubblepalooza! At this free celebration from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., you’ll find families on the City Terrace and lawn enjoying live music, chalk art, trailer food, and of course, tons of bubbles!
Activities and Entertainment:
- chalk art
- special appearance by the ArcAttack! robot
- In My Own Backyard, a play by Pollyanna Theatre Company
- Food Truck Courtyard
- live kindie music on the outdoor stage from Rattletree Marimba, and The Jellydots
- plenty of bubble crafts by Austin Public Library, the Thinkery, KONG Screenprinting, Pollyanna Theatre and more!
You can also take the kids inside the Long Center’s Dell Hall for Jeff Boyer’s Bubble Trouble, a one-man bubble extravaganza. Entrance to Bubble Trouble is $5 per person at the door. For more info about this performance, please click here.
Parking: Parking will be available for $7 per car at the Palmer Events Center Garage. Free parking is also available at Auditorium Shores and the surrounding area.
The event is free, but donations are encouraged. Please take note that pets are not allowed on the Long Center City Terrace. This event is rain or shine.
