KUTX Live at the Four Seasons Recap
Do512 Family editor, Jamie Jett, somehow managed to get out of bed and get to Day Two of KUTX Live at the Four Seasons, a 4-part, early morning, live music series that started Wednesday, Mar. 12 and will continue through Saturday, Mar. 15. Earth Native Wilderness School Presents: Forts and Fairy Houses
Kids will learn about fairy folklore then venture into the woods to build homes for their fairy friends, as well as forts for themselves, at Forts and Fairy Houses with Earth Native Wilderness School on Sunday, Mar. 16 from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.
Mad Tiger Festival
On Sunday, March 16 at 12 pm at (or shall we say in?) Kenny Dorhams' Backyard, get wild and crazy at the Mad Tiger Festival, presented by Chicken Ranch, Do512 Family and Peelander-Z. An "unofficial" part of SXSW but officially cool and fun, the Festival will offer fun for the whole family, including art, music and magic. It's FREE to attend, but please RSVP to ensure a spot.
Faeries by Starlight at the Zilker Botanical Garden
The Woodland Faerie Trail at Zilker Botanical Gardens features faerie homes and gardens created by gardeners, architects and others. Their creations are now on display through May 26, and Friday, Mar. 14, you can see them at night at the Faeries by Starlight event from 7 - 9 pm.
SXSW Outdoor Stage at Butler Park
In the past, SXSW has hosted free, outdoor concerts at Auditorium Shores. Since that location is now under construction, the Outdoor Stage at Butler Park will be the new temporary home. Thursday, Mar. 13 - Saturday, Mar. 15, get to Butler Park and see some major acts, all for free!
