Keeping our kids safe is a number one priority. Empowering them with the tools to feel confident and prepared in any situation is something that all parents strive for. On Saturday, Oct. 11, we can get a little help with this at the Child Safety Fair at Palacios ATA Martial Arts from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. where kids will learn self defense techniques, enjoy healthy snacks and prizes, too.
In partnership with AmberAlert.com, Palacios ATA Martial Arts will offer free Child Abduction Awareness and Self Defense seminars proven to help make kids safer. This program helps ensure children stay out of harm’s way, and gives them the techniques and confidence to escape a potentially dangerous situation.
Guests at the Child Safety Fair include:
- The Austin Police Department with finger painting
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
- Pflugerville Fire Department with 911 & fire safety info
- Best Buy Geek Squad with tips for Internet safety
This event is free, but space is limited. You must pre-register online here. The first 25 children to register will receive a free prize!
