Calling all cowboys…it’s time to wrangle up your little buckaroos and take them to Georgetown, TX this Saturday, Oct. 18 for the annual Chisholm Trail Days. Everyone’s invited to San Gabriel Park from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. for this free, family-friendly event that includes historical reenactments, a real longhorn cattle drive, pony rides, wagon rides, blacksmith demos, crafts, food, live music, and a children’s corral with lots of games and activities.
Schedule:
- 8 – 9 a.m.: Cowboy Breakfast served by Buckaroo Band – $3 per person
- 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Activities begin (see list below)
- 9:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.: Sam Bass Shootout
- 12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Longhorn Cattle Drive
