Christmas in July – Kids Ride Free on the Austin Steam Train

The Austin Steam Train invites you to celebrate Christmas in July on their special Capital City Christmas train ride on Sunday, July 12 at 11 a.m.! Kids age 13 and under can ride this train for free with a donation for the dogs and cats at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.  Donations must be one of the following: KMR brand kitten formula, any brand of grain-free dog kibble, or any pate style canned food for cats.

All cars are pulled by a 1960 Alco diesel locomotive. This ride is 3 hours round trip with no layover. It departs Cedar Park at 11 a.m. and returns to Cedar Park at 2 p.m. Parties of two may be seated at shared tables.
Adult tickets start range from $25-$40 and ticket prices for seniors range from $22- $37. You must reserve your seats in advance, which you can do by visiting the Austin Steam Train website or calling (512) 477-8468.
