Young fans of Curious George are in for a treat on Thursday, July 7 when he rolls into Austin with a stop at the Texas State Capitol from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. This summer, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is traveling coast-to-coast, bringing an immersive, playful learning experience to kids and families nationwide. Featuring Curious George and other iconic characters, Curious World Tour is a mobile experience that includes six interactive activity stations filled with hands-on summer activities — from rocket ship building and story time to dancing and gardening. The trailer will unfold to create a free, playful learning environment for kids.

What is the cost per child
This is a FREE event.
I feel like this is false advertising. We arrived at 12:45 only to learn that George made a 10 minute appearance at 12:30 and would not be returning until 4:30. The activities were interesting, but my 2-year-old cried all the way back to the car because he didn’t get to see George.
