Easter is Sunday, March 31 and there are some great events in Austin leading up to the big day, as well as some super cute Easter brunches! Here’s your list of upcoming Easter fun (and also a reminder to book those brunch reservations ASAP). Easter Egg Hunts and Events
— Community Easter Egg Hunt @ Tarrytown UMC
Saturday, March 23 | 10 am – 11:30 am | FREE
The annual TUMC Austin Easter egg hunt is this Saturday and will feature a petting zoo and other fun Easter activities. This is a community-wide event, so feel free to tell your neighbors and bring a friend.
— Easter EGGstavaganza @ Lakeway City Park
Saturday, March 23 | 2 pm – 4 pm | FREE
This beloved annual event welcomes citizens of Lakeway and guests from near and far for merriment and joy. In addition to children’s Easter Egg Hunts (with eggs filled with candy and toys as well as a golden egg for a special prize), EGGstravaganza features food vendors, a petting zoo, a bubble station, chalk art, face painting, and more. — North Austin YMCA Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 30 | 12:30 pm | FREE with RSVP here
At this second annual event, you can expect MORE games, MORE crafts, MORE fun, and, of course, MORE eggs than ever before! Based on age, egg hunts will kick off at 12:30 P.M., 1:30 P.M., and 2:30 P.M. Reservations are required to secure your spot for the age-based egg hunt of your choice. RSVP and get more info here.

This FREE Adaptive and Inclusive event is family-centered and is for children with disabilities and their siblings. Pre-registration for this event is required and spaces are limited so sign up now to secure a spot here.
— Spring Community Eggstravaganza @ Springs Family YMCA
Saturday, March 23 | 11 am | FREE with RSVP here
Head to Dripping Springs for this FREE community event featuring Spring’s Family YMCA’s annual egg hunt in the pool and outdoors, face painting, games, and more! Local non-profit, service, and wellness organizations will be available to offer resources, services, and information. This event is open to the community so invite your friends!
— Easter Extravaganza @ Littlefield’s Tacos + Coffee
Sunday, March 24 | 3 pm – 5 pm | Kids’ tickets are $35 plus fees here (adults are free)
Littlefield’s isn’t just home to tacos and coffee! Bring the kiddos for an Easter Carnival with sweet treats, arts & crafts by Hello Dance, a petting zoo, photos with the Easter bunny, and more! Tickets are $35 per child and are required for children 18 months or older. No purchase is necessary for adults. You can get more info and register here.
— Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Easter Egg Hunts
Various dates and times through Easter Sunday
Sweet Eats Fruit Farm offers multiple egg hunts per day, including a “quiet hunt” for special needs children. This year, all their egg hunts will be wooden eggs and children will exchange their eggs for a full bag of candy. Please bring an Easter basket for your child to collect their eggs. — Flashlight Egg Hunt + Movie in The Park @ Old Settler’s Park

This event is selling out so grab your tix quickly here! Join your Parks and Recreation Department for the annual Flashlight Egg Hunt followed by a movie. “The sun has set and the moon shines bright; Join the fun for an egg hunt in the night. A treat-filled hunt ring waits for you; Eggs, Candy, Prizes, and lots of fun too! Bring your flashlight and a basket to fill; It’s so exciting you can’t sit still! We encourage fair play and friendliness too; So please hunt nicely, it’s the right thing to do! You won’t want to miss so join in on the fun; Stay for a movie when the hunt is done!”
— Pinballz Arcade Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Friday, March 29| 11 am – 1 pm | $8 early bird here, $13 at the door
Each of Pinballz’s three Austin locations will have Easter egg hunts, Easter crafts, and a chance for kids to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Tickets are $8 per child early bird registration and $13 at the door, and you can get your tix and see the full schedule of events here. (Please note which location you purchase your ticket for).
— Easter Extravaganza @ Fareground
Saturday, March 30| Noon – 3 pm | FREE with RSVP here (Currently waitlist only)
This event is so popular, that it’s currently waitlist only, but just in case, we’re including the details. Fareground’s Easter Celebration begins at noon on Saturday, March 30. There will be egg hunts, face painting, brunch specials, live music, and fun treats for all ages, like cotton candy and popcorn, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Celebrate Easter Sunday with a side of Hill Country views at Treaty Oak Distilling. Alice’s Restaurant has a very special brunch menu planned that you won’t want to miss. This experience includes a complimentary Easter Egg Hunt for children at 2 pm and for adults at 3 pm, as well as live music by Lucas Richard Taylor from 1-3 pm.
