Of course there’s TONS of music, gaming, interactive & education sessions during SXSW, but another one of the extra special things that we look forward to during the annual festival is the Eco Light Garden at Republic Square Park. It’s a dreamy illuminated art installation that’s free and open to the public from Sunday, Mar. 15 through Saturday, Mar. 21 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
The Eco Light Garden is an annual project aimed to provide a peaceful escape from the crowd and offers a chance to interact with the latest efficient LED technologies. This year, explore projects from Aerosol Warfare Studios, Barco, Crash Alchemy, Charles Gadeken, Gavvot Productions, Houndstooth, Ink Tank Art Collective, Lumenpulse, and Praxis Creatives.
Our good friend, Quel from Home Girl Blog, took her son last year. Click here to read all about her experience!
Enjoy!
