Free Beginner Coding Workshop

Have kids who like playing on the computer? Who might like to learn how to create their own programs? On Saturday May 10 from 1:30 – 3 pm, Hatch After School is offering a free beginner coding workshop at the MakerSquare Office.

Hatch After School offers classes where kids can learn HTML coding, computer animation, and how to create their own mobile apps. This free weekend workshop will have two parts – an introduction to web development using X-Ray Goggles and the chance the learn about computational thinking using resources from code.org.  It is for kids 10 and up, and no coding experience is required.
