Get ready for the biggest annual celebration of comic books! Free Comic Book Day takes place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 when you and the kids can head over to your favorite local comic store to pick up your very own freebies. It’s a great time to find new comics, dress up in costume, get the kids motivated in reading, and simply have fun with the community.

Where To Go On Free Comic Book Day:
— Austin Books & Comics
Open from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Each fan will be able to choose FREE COMICS from a wide selection available in a huge set-up at the at the end of the building! Costumes encouraged! For more details, check out their Facebook event page.
— Dragons Lair Comics and Fantasy
Doors are open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and the event is open to everyone — from those new to comics to longtime fans, and young and old readers alike. They’ll also have bouncy castle, a Create-A-Comic Booth, a Cosplay Contest, and lots of special guests including The Greater Austin Comic Con, The 501st Legion, The Ghostbusters of Austin, and more. — Rogues Gallery Comics and Games (Round Rock)
Open from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., head on over and take your pick from their tables! Comics will be arranged by all-ages, teen and up, and mature readers. As always, the best selection will be early on. — Titan Moon Comics (Cedar Park)
