This weekend, your family will have three opportunities to have Frozen-themed fun. You can see the movie for free, ice skate to Disney tunes and hang with Olaf, and enjoy a day of Frozen activities at a toy store.
On Friday, July 18, Laura’s Library will host a free screening of “Frozen” for their Friday Family Films afternoon. Movie starts at 4 pm!
Also on Friday, July 18, Chaparral Ice Center is having a Frozen Party on Ice from 6:30 – 9 pm. Dress up in your favorite Disney costume, skate to Disney classics and take photos with Olaf!
Everyone will indulge in frozen yogurt giveaways from Yogurtland and Spice Girls Kitchen will be selling food and treats. Enjoy special skating performances to “Let it Go” and “In Summer”, and feel the magic at 8 pm when the main lights will turn off and twinkly lights will come on!
To hang out and enjoy the atmosphere, it is free to enter the building. However, if you would like to skate, you’ll have to pay the normal admission price plus rental if you need to rent a pair of skates. Admission is $6 and skate rental is $4.
Finish off your Disney weekend at Frozen Day on Sunday, July 20 from 1 – 4 pm at Kaleidoscope Toys. Get your picture taken with Queen Elsa, make your own snowflakes, and play Frozen-themed games like an Olaf Dice Game. Admission is one non-perishable food item per person for the Rock Rock Area Serving Center.
Have fun!
