Fun Fun Fun Fest Family Funday

The folks behind Fun Fun Fun Fest want us to kick back and enjoy a super rad day with the kids before daily life gets consumed by homework and all that busyness that comes with the new school year. On Saturday, September 5, you can bring the kids to the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex for the first official Fun Fun Fun Fest Family Funday from 4-8 p.m.!

While entry is free, please consider making a $5 suggested donation at the door that will go directly toward Girls Rock Austin, an organization dedicated to empowering girls through music education.

At the event, you’ll get you to enjoy four hours of:

  • FREE roller skating
  • FREE bowling
  • arcade games
  • heavy metal face painting
  • snacks and refreshments
  • a hands on rock n’ roll instrument clinic from the team at Girls Rock Austin
  • special DJ sets from Learning Secrets, Flying Turns, Johnny Hottub, and DJ Bad Kitty

Alamo Drafthouse Austin will be screening two movies for FREE:

  • Uncle Buck @ 4:30 p.m.
  • Xanadu @ 6:30 p.m.

That’s not all! You can take part in the first ever FFF Bowling Tournament, where the winning team will get passes to this year’s fest! To participate, just get a team of 4 together and sign up early right at doors (first come, first served).

Roller skates are available on a first come first bases, but you are welcome to bring your own skates, too.

For more information, please visit the Fun Fun Fun Fest website. You can also RSVP to attend on their Facebook event page, and follow on Twitter for updates.

We can’t wait to see you there!
