Get into the spooky Halloween spirit with the tales of the Brothers Grimm. On Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m., you can hear professional storyteller Tom Lee perform a selection of these original, dark stories at the Blanton Museum of Art.
Grimm’s fairytales are depicted in the Blanton’s current exhibition, Natalie Frank: The Brothers Grimm, a collection of more than 30 drawings that explore the nineteenth-century fairy tales of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, including well-known stories such as Cinderella and Snow White, and more obscure tales such as The Lettuce Donkey and The Ungrateful Son.
Acclaimed storyteller Tom Lee will perform a selection of the Grimms fairytales that are depicted in the Blanton’s exhibition. This event is free with regular paid entrance fees to the museum. Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+), $5 for ages 13-21, and free for children ages 12 and under.
