Groundwork Music Project’s 2015 Fall Family FUNraiser

On Sunday, Oct. 18 you can take the whole family to Nutty Brown Cafe from 3-6 p.m. for a great afternoon of music and fun. The Groundwork Music Project’s Fall Family FUNraiser will feature some of Austin’s best musicians, face painting, a bouncy castle and more. Plus, all funds raised at this event will be used to help Groundwork Music Project continue to provide free and low cost music classes to Austin children. Raising funds while having fun = total win!

Music: Hosted by Elizabeth McQueen, this event will feature music by Joe McDermott, Groundwork Music Orchestra, and Leslie Sisson & Rozie Castoe from Moving Panoramas.

Activities:

  • Silent auction
  • Bouncy castle
  • Face painting
  • Balloon animals

If you arrive early, you and the kids can participate in a ukulele workshop. For $25 per person, you can take part in a group lesson from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Ukes will be provided for your use. The latter part of the lesson will double as a community style sing along, as our first people arrive. You can register online here.

Tickets: Ticket to attend the Fall Family FUNraiser are $5 which can be purchased at the door at Nutty Brown Cafe.
