Halloween Movies at the Drive-In

Have you ever taken the kids to a drive-in movie? Austin’s Blue Starlite Drive-in is a really fun place to go munch on popcorn and watch a show from your own car. This month, they are showing tons of Halloween movies!

(Note, all family-friendly movie nights include a special Charlie Brown pre-show.)

  • Saturday, Oct. 11, 8 p.m. – Addams Family and Ghostbusters
  • Friday, Oct. 17, 8 p.m. – Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice
  • Saturday, Oct. 18, 8 p.m. – Ghostbusters and Monster Squad
  • Sunday, Oct. 26, 8 p.m. – Hocus Pocus
  • Friday, Oct. 31, 7:30 p.m. Beetlejuice and trick-or-treats!
    This is the Blue Starlite’s first trick-or-treat from the car event. Bring a bowl of candy so kids can go from car to car and fill up their bags.

The Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In is also showing tons of super scary movies for grown-ups and teens. Check out the full month-long schedule here.

You can either walk-in and bring a chair for the pedestrian area for just $5 per person or bring your car for $15 + the $5 general admission charge. There are also concession add-ons for varying fees. This picture below explains it best. (Click here buy your tickets.)
