Independence Day Festival at Pioneer Farms

Historic Pioneer Farms is hosting a Star-Spangled Independence Day Festival on both Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 with an array of family fun — hayrides & horse-drawn wagon rides, pie-eating & watermelon seed-spitting contests, historical reenactments, live music and a colorful display of independence flags. The special activities will take place between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days.

The day will be Austin’s version of a midsummer festival, a popular activity in the late 1800s. You can enjoy this old-fashioned weekend that replicates the family-friendly summer holidays in Old Texas.

pioneerfarms–> Admission: The Independence Day festival is included with regular paid admission. General admission is $8 for visitors ages 13 and over, and $6 for children ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free.
