Do512 Family - What to do in Austin with Kids

Join Us at the Do512 Family Picnic!

When we started thinking about all of the cool events that take place during South By Southwest, we started dreaming of hosting our own family friendly music party for all of you awesome Austin parents and kids. We thought about parking, activities, food, room for kids to run and play, as well as music and beverages that would appeal to grownups. With sponsorship from IT’S TIME TEXAS, our dream of hosting an amazing party is coming to a reality. We are so excited to invite you all to the Do512 Family Picnic on Thursday, Mar. 19 from 2 – 8 p.m.!

Join us at the Midway Food Park for a unique, family-friendly show during SXSW where all ages can enjoy some great music in a relaxed setting, away from the downtown busyness. It’s FREE and fun for all ages!

–> Where? Midway Food Park offers several local food trucks in a park-like setting, complete with picnic tables, a playscape for the kids, plenty of room to stretch out or play, restrooms and parking. And it’s BYOB! The Midway Food Park opens at 11 a.m. if you want to head over early. And if the parking lot fills up, don’t worry. It’s perfectly fine to park along the road, too.
