Just a Minute: A Dia de los Muertos Play

Celebrate Day of the Dead by taking the kids to see “Just a Minute: A Dia de los Muertos Play” at Austin Scottish Rite Theater. This show for children is a staged adaptation of Yuyi Morales’s fantastical award-winning books Just a Minute and Just in Case. This is the last weekend to catch performances of this play! It runs on Saturday, October 31 at 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. as well as Sunday, November 1 at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. We have tickets to giveaway to Sunday’s show! Scroll down to enter to win.

About the Play: Señor Calavera wants Grandma Beetle to leave with him right away, but she still has one house to sweep, two pots of tea to boil, three pounds of corn to make into tortillas – and that’s just the start! Kids of all ages will love these bilingual counting and alphabet tales.
