Keep Austin Playing – A Citywide Play Date

On Saturday, July 22, you can bring the kids to a big, FREE citywide play date at the Palmer Events Center from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.! Keep Austin Playing is an annual event full of interactive games for kids of all ages. It was created by the Austin Parks and Recreation Department to promote healthy, active lifestyles and to celebrate National Parks & Recreation month. Bring the whole family for lots of play and to learn about the variety of classes & programs offered to the community.

There will be many fun activities that will show children and adults how easy and fun exercise can be. You’ll get to enjoy:

  • portable climbing wall
  • inflatable batting cage
  • bike rodeo
  • human foosball
  • obstacle course
  • corn hole
  • tailgate games
  • face painting
  • prizes
  • giveaways including a bicycle, Round Rock Express tickets and more!
