We are counting down the days ’til Sound On Sound Fest takes over the Sherwood Forest Faire with an amazing lineup of bands, comedy, skating & camping, all complete with plenty of Renaissance-themed insanity. This inaugural 3-day festival will take place November 4-6 and features a wide variety of music acts such as Run the Jewels, Descendents, Explosions in the Sky, Courtney Barnett, Beach House, Phantogram, Mac DeMarco, Guided By Voices and so many more. Plus, the lineup includes stand-up comedy and panel sessions, too.
But wait! There’s more! Children under age 10 get in FREE with adults, and you’re definitely going to want to bring them out to party with us. Not only will kids be pumped just to be walking into the Sherwood Forest, a 23-acre renaissance village in McDade, TX that features an actual castle, but we’re supplying families with a rad area designed just for kids! In the Kids Kingdom, you can join us for faerie tea parties, jousting games, a reptile show, fake tats & nose rings, crafts — AND music on the Come & Tyke It Stage.

The Kids Kingdom will be open on Friday, November 4 from 4-8 p.m., as well as Saturday, November 5 & Sunday, November 6 from 1-7 p.m. Access to Kids Kingdom is included with your Sound On Sound Fest admission!
