The Scottish Rite Theatre is bringing a new production to Austin area families this holiday season based on O. Henry’s classic story, The Gift of the Magi. A story of friendship and giving comes to life on stage in Kids of the Magi, a play geared towards families with elementary-age kids.
Two best friends, Jamie and Dale, learn the meaning of sacrifice and reward in this action-packed story with live music and live sports. Scottish Rite Theater players dance, sing, and even fence their way into your heart in a play about community and generosity.

- Saturday, Dec. 13 – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 20 – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 21 – 12:30 & 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are available online here and at the door one hour before showtime. Tickets costs $8 for children ages 12 and under, and $13 for ages 13 and up. At Scottish Rite Theater, kids can get up close to the stage on the big carpet close to the action! There is open seating for all. Parking is available for free in the lot on a first-come basis, and street parking is also available.
