Join Little Wing (School of Rock for preschoolers) for an Instrument Petting Zoo at the Toybrary Saturday, May 17 at 10:30 am. This Daddy & Me Playdate is a mere $5 per child for an hour of fun. Kids will get to explore different instruments, trying their hand at playing the guitar, drums, keys, bass or even rocking out on the microphone.
Little Wing’s music classes expose children to real instruments through play based activities, so they can have fun while learning about musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch and melody. This weekend will be a great introduction to the class experience, as well as a great activity for daddy and the little one while mommy gets an hour to read a book, or maybe drink a cup of coffee in silence. Of course, moms are welcome.
Toybrary Austin is an awesome spot if you haven’t checked it out yet, the Instrument Petting Zoo is the perfect opportunity to see all that they have to offer. Toybrary reduces both financial and material waste through memberships where members checkout toys like at a library. They also host parenting and children’s classes, as well as birthday parties, and even have drop-in childcare hours.
