Luminations at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

Take a breathtaking stroll through the main gardens of Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center which are lit by never-before-seen immersive light installations for 2024. Luminations, the Wildflower Center’s Annual, ever-changing light show, is a space for the whole family to enjoy winter magic.

This year, the climbable forts of Fortlandia will be included in Luminations, giving a special draw for kids of all ages. Also on our radar are the full-service bars for grown-ups, as well as a revolving lineup of local food trucks and other kid-friendly offerings. Also new this year, Luminations will be throughout the Wildflower Center’s Main Gardens, making it a more walkable and even more immersive experience.

Luminations runs from November 22, 2024, through January 5, 2025, with entry from 5:45 pm – 7:45 pm (with the exhibit closing at 9 pm). Please note: Luminations is closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1)
