Afternoon in the Garden: Nature Journaling

Griffen_leaf_rubbingAre the kids tired of swimming? Exhausted by long days of sun, fun, color wars, sports and more? Help ’em kick back and relax while getting in touch with nature AND their creative side, all at the same time.

On Sunday, August 18 from 12 – 4 pm, bring the family down to Zilker Botanical Gardens for Afternoon in the Garden: Nature Journaling. For the Garden entry fee of just $2 per adult, $1 for children 3 – 12 and seniors, kids can wander through the gardens, observe what they see and then document it all in a nature journal. Journals are made of recycled materials (of course!) and are the perfect way to capture sketches  – and imaginations.
