Fantastic Magic Camp has a new location for the summer of 2015! Previously housed in Highland Mall, their new address is at 7500 Woodrow Ave, Austin, TX 78757 in North Central Austin’s Crestview neighborhood. Once the Fantastic Magic Camp owners knew that Highland Mall was closing to make way for Austin Community College, they started seeking a new location with these essential factors:
- It had to be within 2 miles of Highland Mall, so as not to inconvenience their campers and their families.
- It should be at least as big as the mall location so that they would not have to reduce the size of sessions.
- It needed to be in a safe location and welcoming environment.
- Ideally it would also include some features like separate rooms to make teaching easier or an outdoor playing area.
This new location has all of these things and more! This space has been home to a number of different churches and a Montessori School. Not only does the new location give Fantastic Magic Camp more room to work with, but it also includes more rooms and an outdoor play area, too!
